Grant LaVigna A LMFT specializes in working with families who are raising a child with Autism or other intellectual disabilities. With over 22 years of experience in the field, he has worked in multiple settings, from the school setting to managing a School Base Mental Health Team. Grant has dedicated himself to strengthening pre-existing coping skills, learning new coping skills, and teaching families about their unique and important roles within the family unit. He has also been a part of the City of Los Angeles Crisis Response Team for over 12 years, training responders on how to provide immediate on-scene crisis intervention. Grant works with individuals and families dealing with Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Stress, Abuse, PTSD, Severe and Challenging Behaviors, Victims of Crime, Adults with an Intellectual Disability, and Mental Illness.
