Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services (HCDDS) is a government social services agency established by state law. We provide case management and monitoring service quality to more than 7,600 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, from babies through seniors. Our approach is to treat each person we serve as an individual, and connect them to services that reflect the life they want. By collaborating with over 1,000 certified providers, we are able to help people live a life that is meaningful to them, on their own terms. Our agency is guided by two principles—to move toward community integration in all we do, and to build the capacity of community organizations to meet the needs of people with disabilities. HCDDS is overseen by a seven-member Board of Directors and has been led since January 2021 by Superintendent Leia Snyder.
