Harley Ian Kornblum, MD

Dr. Harley Ian Kornblum MD is an Associate Professor of Molecular Medical Pharmacology and Pediatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine. He is a Staff Pediatric Neurologist at the UCLA- Mattel Childrens Hospital and runs an active research laboratory investigating brain development and repair. He is renowned for his impressive educational background, having obtained his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his Medical Degree and Ph.D from the University of California, Irvine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics and a Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at the UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kornblum is the author of many scientific articles as well as several clinical papers and is a sought-after lecturer for medical students, graduate students, residents, and clinical trainees. He also provides expert review of scholarly articles for Journals and grant applications for federal agencies. Dr. Kornblum’s clinical practice focuses on children with difficult to diagnose or treat neurological problems, often providing second and third opinions for other Pediatric Neurologists.
