Helping Hands For the Disabled of NYC is an organization dedicated to helping disabled people take control of their lives and achieve independence. We provide a variety of services, including companionship for shopping, running errands, attending doctor appointments, and more. We also have a food pantry, trips and social events, and a monthly “Be A Friend Day” where a volunteer can help a disabled person for 3 hours with activities such as shopping, reading mail, and going to the beauty parlor or barber shop.
