At Hillcrest Educational Centers, we are a private, not-for-profit organization providing essential services for students from across the country. Our origins lie in providing residential programs for students with complex psychiatric, behavioral and/or developmental disorders, including autism, and a range of high-risk behaviors. In addition to residential services, Hillcrest now offers day programs and services for students with emotional or behavioral disturbances at our Hillcrest Academy, as well as general family dentistry at Hillcrest Dental Care. We strive to provide the best possible care for our students and families.

At Hillcrest Educational Centers, we specialize in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a scientifically-validated form of therapy that helps individuals improve communication, social, and daily living skills, while also addressing problematic behaviors. Our mission is to equip our clients with the skills and confidence to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. Our comprehensive guide to ABA therapy covers everything you need to know, from understanding the basics to finding a qualified ABA therapist. With Hillcrest Educational Centers, you can feel confident that you are receiving the best quality ABA therapy available.
At Hillcrest Educational Centers, we understand that deciding if ABA therapy is right for your child is a big decision. ABA is a type of therapy that focuses on improving communication skills, introducing productive habits, and reducing any harmful behaviors. Unfortunately, there are some providers who look to “cure” autism, but high quality ABA therapy does exist. The goal of ABA therapy should not be to “fix” children, make them less “autistic”, or change who they are. Rather, the goal is to help them learn all that they can so that they can live to their fullest potential while embracing their unique personality traits. To help you make this decision, we have created a comprehensive guide to starting and ending ABA therapy. Please contact us if you have any questions or require more information.
At Hillcrest Educational Centers, we understand that ABA therapy can be expensive, so we’re here to help. ABA is typically covered by insurance if you have an autism diagnosis, as this is the only diagnosis that insurance will authorize for ABA services. It’s important to check with your specific insurance plan to determine coverage for ABA and confirm that the provider you are seeking care at is in-network. To help you make the most informed decision, Hillcrest Educational Centers has put together a comprehensive guide to everything you need to know about ABA therapy, including how much it costs. Check it out today to learn more.
