Hoover Recreation Center, located on Municipal Drive next to the Hoover Public Library, offers state-of-the-art facilities for indoor fitness. Residents of Hoover can take advantage of the indoor pool, walking track, gym, racquetball court, basketball courts, and a newly renovated fitness center with the latest and best in weight equipment. The center also provides special fitness and community events, fitness programs, and community classes, as well as being home to the Hoover Hurricanes swim team for individuals with disabilities.
