HOPE – Horses Helping People is a not-for-profit organization established in July 2000 with the mission of enriching the lives and experiences of individuals with disabilities through equine-assisted therapy. Our founders and directors boast a wealth of equine-related experience, from physical therapy to exercise science, special education, nursing, and more. We have evolved from a back-yard program to a 40-acre facility in Archer, Florida, allowing us to provide a wide range of services, from adapted riding therapies and equine-assisted learning to memoree for patients with Alzheimer’s, equine recreational therapy, equine-assisted psychotherapy, first responder and veterans programs, and Special Olympics. Our team is committed to providing state-of-the-art services at the local, state, national, and international levels.
