The Idaho State Independent Living Council (SILC) is committed to empowering Idahoans with disabilities to achieve independent living. Our activities are designed to provide them with a greater voice in obtaining community-based, cost-effective services that are tailored to their needs. We collaborate with individuals with disabilities, public agencies, private non-profit and for-profit organizations to enhance the quality of life and promote independence. Our solutions-oriented approach is focused on creating innovative and inclusive pathways that enable people with disabilities to enjoy full participation in their communities.
