The Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities (ICDD) is a state-level organization that works to promote the independence, productivity, integration, and inclusion of individuals with disabilities into the community, helping to ensure they have the same opportunities and access to services and supports that best fit their needs. Founded in 1974 under a federal mandate, ICDD is administered by the Administration of Developmental Disabilities and invests in individuals and organizations throughout Illinois to help those with disabilities fully participate in everyday life.
