Have questions?

At Imua Family Services at the Molokai Community Health Center, we specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. ABA is a science-based form of therapy that focuses on improving communication skills, social skills, and daily living skills, while also addressing problematic or challenging behaviors. Our goal is to empower our clients to achieve greater independence through ABA therapy, and we are here to provide you with all the information and support you need to make informed decisions. Learn more about ABA therapy and how it can help you or your loved one by visiting our website today.

At Imua Family Services at the Molokai Community Health Center, we understand how important it is to make the right decision for your family when it comes to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). That’s why we’ve created a comprehensive guide to help you start and end ABA therapy. Our guide aims to help you improve communication skills, introduce productive habits, and reduce harmful behaviors, all while embracing your child’s unique personality traits. We want to emphasize that ABA should never be used to “cure” autism, or to “fix” children, or to make them appear “less autistic”. Our goal is to help people of all abilities learn to their fullest potential. With Imua Family Services, you can trust that your child’s ABA experience will be tailored to meet their individual needs.

At Imua Family Services, based at the Molokai Community Health Center, we understand that ABA therapy can be expensive, and we are here to help. ABA is typically covered by insurance if your child has been diagnosed with autism. However, it’s important to check with your specific insurance plan to make sure that the provider you are seeking care from is in-network and that ABA services are covered for your child’s diagnosis. To learn more about ABA therapy and insurance coverage, our Imua Family Services team has created a comprehensive guide to help you navigate the process.
