At Independence Now, we are dedicated to advocating and embodying independence and equality for all people with disabilities in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County, Maryland. Our vision is to ensure that people with disabilities are living independent and fully inclusive lives and are recognized by society as equal. We believe in empowering individual choice and self-direction, while also valuing a community built on acceptance and equality. We serve a diverse population while providing support, guidance, training, education, and hands-on-skills. We strive to bridge the gap between the disability community and society at large through collaboration and education.
