Independent Living, Inc. is a nonprofit agency operated by and for individuals with disabilities with a mission to ensure universal access and opportunity in every aspect of community life in Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan and Rockland Counties. Established in 1987, we strive to eliminate physical and attitudinal barriers, as well as assist individuals with disabilities to successfully transition from system-dependency to independence. We have over 30 years of experience providing resources to the community, and continue to demonstrate cost-effective ways of improving the lives of persons with disabilities.
