Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS) provides services to strengthen families and children/youth, helping them develop essential skills to manage everyday stress and more significant challenges. Through the Autistic Spectrum Services Project AWARE, funded by the United Way of Atlantic County, JFS offers community education about Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD), limited no or low cost evaluations, and support for families with children newly diagnosed with ASDs. Project AWARE works to increase awareness of autism, especially amongst minority families and those who are uninsured or underinsured in Atlantic County.
