Jonathan Garson, LCSW

Jonathan Garson, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, serving Boulder and outlying counties with 35 years of experience working with individuals and families. He has worked with teenagers in summer programs, led bicycle trips throughout the U.S. and Europe, raced bicycles in New England and taught in alternative high schools in Vermont and New York City. With a Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University, Jonathan has worked in residential and day treatment programs, community mental health settings, psychiatric hospitals, criminal justice system treating adolescent sexual aggression and victimization, chemical dependency treatment, and teen pregnancy prevention program development in urban and rural settings. Jonathan has developed a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder over the past 15 years and is also trained in Brainspotting. After moving to Boulder, CO with his wife Page in 1993, Jonathan and Page have two adult sons, Max and Will. When not working, Jonathan enjoys bluegrass music, biking, and gnarly weather.
