Kenneth Westcott Norwood MD is a board-certified professor of pediatrics and neurodevelopmental disabilities at the University of Virginia (UVA). After completing his clinical fellowship at the Kennedy-Krieger Institute, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Norwood joined the UVA faculty in 2005. He sees patients representing the full spectrum of developmental disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Furthermore, he is the primary attending in the brain injury clinic and is a member of the University’s Academy of Distinguished Educators. Dr. Norwood also serves on the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on Children with Disabilities. He is passionate about teaching, having won teaching awards at several institutions, including UVA.
