At KinderSpeak, Inc. we understand that it can be difficult to know when a child needs speech therapy. If your child is diagnosed with autism, speech therapy is almost always recommended as many people with autism have difficulty with social communication. Even if your child is very verbal and says a lot of words, they may still benefit from communication skills such as responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing topics, understanding body language and more. We believe that language and communication skills are important to teach as early as possible, especially if there are any delays in that area. Our guide to speech therapy is designed to provide you with all the information you need to help your child grow into an independent and confident individual. If you notice your child struggling to speak, being very quiet, saying only a few words, or not speaking at all, speech therapy may be a helpful way to improve their language and communication skills.
KinderSpeak, Inc. is here to help children learn how to effectively communicate with others. Our speech therapy services focus on helping children develop nonverbal skills, form speech more clearly, express thoughts and feelings, understand questions, recognize facial expressions and body language, and improve their feeding and swallowing abilities. We strive to help children improve their communication abilities and confidence in all environments.
