La Causa Inc.s Crisis Nursery and Respite Center is a safe haven for the community, providing basic needs such as clothing, food and shelter to children from birth to 12 years old for over 29 years. Open 24/7, 365 days a year, we provide support to families in times of emergency, such as homelessness, domestic violence, medical needs, and more. We are the only licensed center of its kind in southeast Wisconsin, caring for up to 12 children per night at no cost to the family, helping to avoid traumatic, crisis situations that could have long-lasting, detrimental effects.
