Dr. Rowland was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and trained in pediatrics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She moved to Virginia and began working at CHKD, where she has access to outstanding pediatric specialties and can continue to offer help and comfort to families. Dr. Rowland is married to a physician and has three small children who have taught her more about pediatrics than any book. In her free time, she enjoys running, biking, reading, playing piano and spending time outdoors. With her knowledge and experience, Dr. Rowland is committed to providing the best care available.
