Life Skills Centers, Inc. is dedicated to providing a warm, inviting environment where those we serve can feel safe and loved. Our staff are trained in Gentle Teaching techniques, which are practiced daily. We have developed Sensory Programming with an Occupational Therapist to accommodate sensory processing difficulties. Our facility is filled with calming and comforting elements, such as sky swings, rocking chairs, and lotions, scents, and decorations in each department. We work with each consumer and their homes to provide consistent services to ensure success. We also have a kitchen area in our facility to encourage food preparation skills. Our staff are advocates for our consumers, helping them find meaningful and fulfilling activities. We provide Out of Home Non-Voc Facility and Community Skill Building services, such as Adult Daily Living, Communication, Social, Community Experiences/Community Awareness, Kitchen and Personal Safety, Recreation and Leisure, and Vocational- Janitorial/Clerical.
