Shelby Community Life Skills, INC. is an exemplary day program which serves 43 consumers with development disabilities, medical and/or physical challenges on an individual basis. We use gentle teaching strategies and activities chosen by the consumers to increase their independence, socialization, and communication skills. In addition, we strive to improve community awareness and safety skills by providing our consumers the opportunity to go out into the community and reinforce skills learned at our facility. Founded in 2000 when Macomb Community Life Skills was divided into two smaller workshops, our program moved to West Star Drive and later to our current location on Wing Drive in 2011.
