At Little League Challenger Division in Concord, we provide adaptive baseball programs for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Our games are designed to be flexible and adaptable, with rulebooks that include best practices for operating Challenger Division Games. Typically, our games last for 1-2 innings and about an hour. All players participate in batting, base running and defense and may be played on either a traditional or synthetic baseball or softball field. We encourage the use of traditional fields for the Challenger Division, so that participants can enjoy the same experience as their peers. We also seek out and encourage Buddies, individuals who are willing to assist Challenger athletes in batting, base running and defense. Buddies are often peer athletes who take part in our Little League Baseball or Softball program.
