The Little League Challenger Division is an adaptive baseball program for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Games are flexible and adaptable and typically last one to two innings and around an hour. Players are able to play on traditional or synthetic baseball or softball fields, and Little League encourages the use of traditional fields for the Challenger Division. Buddies, usually peer athletes, can assist Challenger athletes with batting, base running, and defense as needed. With the Little League Challenger Division, everyone can enjoy playing on the same type of field as their peers.
