Maryland Therapeutic Riding Inc. (MTR) is dedicated to providing high-quality therapeutic equine programs to support the needs of children, adults, and veterans with special needs. Our accredited programs offer a unique form of healing and therapy, harnessing the natural powers of horses to help improve balance, strength, muscle tone, self-image, and confidence in participants. Our certified therapists provide a community of support for parents who are often isolated by their child’s illness or disability. With our equine-therapy programs, Hippotherapy, Therapeutic Riding, and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy, MTR creates pathways of healing for all ages.
