Matthew Gotthold M.D. | Townsend is a Board-Certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Gotthold grew up 10 minutes outside of Philadelphia, and is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and Hahnemann University Medical College. After completing his residency in 1994, he was asked by Forrest Hawkins, MD to assume Dr. Hawkins’ established and well-respected Pediatrics practice in North Wilmington. Dr. Gotthold and his wife are the proud parents of 3 children, and have 2 dogs. In his free time, he enjoys music, sports, reading, cooking, gardening, hiking, and more.
