At Matthew J Hay MD, we are proud to have Dr. Matthew J. Hay as part of our team. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Hay has a bachelors degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a doctorate in medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. With his experience and expertise, he has been named the Galveston Daily News Readers Choice Best Pediatrician of Galveston County in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019. Dr. Hay also serves as the Medical Director of the UTMB Health Primary and Specialty Care Clinic in Texas City, a member of the Galveston Independent School District Board of Trustees, and on the Texas Youth Commission Advisory Board. He has developed a special interest in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other behavioral or school-related problems.
