At Melissa Switzer Ph.D. BCBA-D, we understand that deciding whether Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the right choice for your child is a big decision. We believe that ABA has the potential to improve communication skills, introduce productive habits, and reduce harmful behaviors. However, we urge you to be aware of ABA providers who are looking to “cure” autism. Our goal is to help people learn all that they can so they can live to their potential while embracing their unique, individual personality traits. To help you make your decision, we’ve created a comprehensive guide on starting and ending ABA therapy.
