Melmark Carolinas is an approved private school and exceptional children program that specializes in serving students who require a higher level of special education. Our 1:2 teacher-to-student ratio and experienced, qualified staff enable us to provide personalized learning environments and foster progress on each student’s Individual Education Program (IEP). Our integrated special education and applied behavior analytic services are implemented in collaboration with community resources, offering pre-vocational and vocational training. Our staff are overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a licensed special education teacher, and all hold at least a bachelor’s degree. In addition, staff participate in educational trainings and in-service programs and have access to extensive professional development opportunities.
