Merakey Allegheny Valley School (Merakey AVS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our Philadelphia Program Center serves nearly 800 individuals, many of whom are diagnosed with severe or profound IDD and require multiple physical and medical supports, as well as assistance with challenging behaviors. We strive to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can achieve their individual goals and reach their highest potential. With a team of trained professionals and a commitment to compassion and respect, Merakey AVS is dedicated to fostering a sense of community for those we serve.
