Merakey Allegheny Valley School (Merakey AVS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our Pittsburgh campus is home to nearly 800 individuals with a range of IDD, including severe and profound cases. In addition, many of our clients have multiple physical disabilities, complex medical needs, and may require specialized supports for challenging behaviors. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to providing quality care and meaningful opportunities for our clients to reach their highest potential.
