Merakey Allegheny Valley School (Merakey AVS) is a non-profit organization providing homes and a full range of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We are dedicated to the mission of helping those with all levels of IDD, particularly those with severe or profound disabilities, live their best lives. Our Slippery Rock Program Center assists nearly 800 individuals with IDD, multiple physical disabilities, extensive medical complications, and potentially challenging behaviors. Our team is committed to delivering best-in-class care, compassion, and support to those we serve.
