Have questions?

At Minnesota Autism Center | Assessment Center, we understand how important it is to determine if your child needs speech therapy. We recommend speech therapy for autistic children, as many have difficulty with social communication. Speech therapy is a key part of early intervention and helps your child learn effective ways to communicate. If your child is struggling with speaking, they may be very quiet, say only a few words, or not speak at all. We have created a comprehensive guide to help you better understand speech therapy and how it may help your child. Visit our website to learn more and contact us if you have any questions.

At Minnesota Autism Center | Assessment Center, our speech therapists can help your child in a variety of ways. From nonverbal skills, such as signs or gestures, to forming speech in a clearer way, our team can provide the support your child needs. We can also help with communicating thoughts and feelings, understanding and responding to questions, discerning facial expressions and body language, and even stuttering. With our comprehensive approach to speech therapy, we are committed to helping your child communicate effectively.

At Minnesota Autism Center | Assessment Center, we believe that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is an important tool for helping children and adults learn important skills. At Minnesota Autism Center | Assessment Center, we understand that making the decision to pursue Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for your child can be a difficult one. Our goal is to help you make the best decision for your family. We understand that ABA therapy should not be used to “cure” autism or to change who your child is. Rather, the goal of ABA therapy is to help your child learn, develop, and live to their potential while embracing their unique personality traits. To help you make an informed decision, we have created a comprehensive guide to starting and ending ABA therapy. With our guide, you can make an educated decision on whether ABA is the right choice for your child.

At Minnesota Autism Center | Assessment Center, we provide comprehensive ABA therapy to help your child reach their full potential. We understand that the cost of ABA therapy is an important factor for families, so we want to provide you with all the information you need to determine if ABA is covered by your insurance. ABA therapy is usually covered by insurance if your child has an autism diagnosis, as it is the only diagnosis that insurance will typically authorize. To determine if ABA therapy is covered by your insurance plan, contact your insurer directly. Our complete guide to everything you need to know about ABA therapy can help you understand more about the cost, services, and other important details about the therapy.
