The Minnesota Department of Health | Children and Youth with Special Health Needs (CYSHN) works to improve the health of children and youth with special health needs throughout Minnesota. Our programs strive to provide state-level leadership and partner with families and other stakeholders to achieve our vision. We emphasize Quality Improvement in the areas of Family-Centered Care, Cultural Responsiveness, Best Practices, Proactive and Preventive Investment, and Data-Driven Decision-Making, in order to achieve public health policies that will positively benefit children and youth with special health needs and their families.
