Minnesota Disability Law Center

Minnesota Disability Law Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advocates for the legal rights of disadvantaged people to have safe, healthy, and independent lives in strong communities. They serve people with low incomes in 20 central Minnesota counties, seniors 60 and older in 26 counties, and people with disabilities statewide. The organization is committed to helping those who need them most by advocating for systemic change, collaborating with community organizations, meeting clients where they are, and addressing the detrimental impacts of racism. They rely on donations, legislative funding, and grants from foundations, corporations, federal, state, county, and city governments. Minnesota Disability Law Center does not accept Legal Services Corporation funding, allowing them to take on class action lawsuits, represent noncitizen neighbors, and pursue legal and policy changes at the state legislature.
