Morning Glory Treatment Center for Children (MGTCC) was founded in 1987 by Norma, who wanted to create a therapeutic group home where children could receive treatment in a safe environment. For 10 years, MGTCC provided high quality play therapy treatment and parenting to 40 children with conditions like Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Conduct Disorder, high functioning Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and those who had been traumatized by neglect and abuse. Unfortunately, MGTCC had to end its residential treatment program in 1997 due to declining subsidies and increasing licensing regulations. Today, MGTCC focuses on a range of services including counseling, foster care, adoption, and family education. With over 30 years of experience in the field, MGTCC is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and effective treatment for children in need.
