Ms. Patricia Freeze is an experienced Special Education Advocate, certified in Special Education Advocacy through William and Mary Law School’s PELE Clinic and following the COPAA Voluntary Code of Ethics. With a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Minor in Psychology from the University of Houston, as well as experience from the College of the Mainland alternative teacher certification program focusing on English Language Arts and Reading, grades 4-8, Ms. Freeze is well-equipped to attend ARD/IEP meetings and 504 meetings with parents to help them collaborate with schools to obtain the services their children need. Moreover, she is passionate about vigorously defending the rights of children who have been bullied and has been successful in advocating at MDR meetings for students accused of violating the student code of conduct and facing suspension, expulsion, or transfer to an alternative educational setting. In addition, Ms. Freeze has worked as a litigation paralegal for many years, and still occasionally offers paralegal duties for special education attorneys.
