Music Therapy Gateway In Communications, Incorporated (MTGIC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the use of music in medical practices and education. Our mission involves three main areas: disseminating information about biomedical music techniques through concerts and lecture-concerts/workshops; encouraging and facilitating open dialogue and collaboration between researchers, doctors, therapists, educators, musicians, parents, and caregivers to find musical solutions for those with psychosocial, motor, speech, or cognitive challenges; and creating high-level software specifications to automate biomedical music techniques into software. We strive to use our expertise and resources to deliver the most effective and comprehensive music therapies to those in need.
