The New Hampshire Governor’s Commission on Disability (GCD) is a state-run agency created to ensure the rights and needs of people with disabilities are met. GCD advises the Governor, Legislature, and other state agencies on disability-related matters, and provides technical assistance and support for the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and other disability laws. The GCD operates under the jurisdiction of the Governor’s office, and its members and Chair are appointed by the Governor. GCD is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities and promoting an inclusive society.
