New Star Star Crete is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit community organization that is passionately dedicated to challenging the limits and changing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our organization serves more than 650 children and adults throughout the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana each year, creating new and innovative vocational, educational, therapeutic, and social opportunities. We have launched our new e-recycling facility, created a nationally-known advocacy program, and led the way in innovative models of residential care to break down barriers and blaze new trails. Our mission is to provide choices and opportunities through a culture of innovation and caring to enrich the lives and maximize the independence of individuals with disabilities and their families.
