The North Carolina Infant & Toddler Program (NC ITP) provides supports and services for families and their children, from birth to three years old, in the Sandhills region who have special needs. Our program is part of the N.C. Division of Public Health and is overseen by the North Carolina Early Intervention Branch (NCEI). Research has shown that the birth to three time period is a critical window of opportunity and our program can make a positive difference in how a child develops and learns. We work with sixteen Children’s Developmental Services Agencies (CDSAs) across North Carolina to collaborate with local service providers and help families support their children’s growth and success.
