Oakland Family Services is a private, nonprofit human service organization that has been serving the Oakland County community since 1921. Our mission is to provide a continuum of prevention, education and treatment services that span the human life cycle, enrich lives, strengthen families and rebuild lives. We offer a variety of services such as adoption, foster care, parenting and child development programs, free preschool for at-risk youth, and counseling services for all ages, including those dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use issues, and severe emotional disturbance in youth. Oakland Family Services has three convenient locations in Pontiac, Berkley, and Walled Lake.
