On My Own of Michigan, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1997 by parents of young adults with developmental disabilities. We strive to help adults with mild developmental intellectual disabilities become independent, social, and contributing members of their communities. Our 25 years of service to the metro Detroit area have enabled individuals with autism, Down syndrome, and other cognitive impairments to achieve and maintain independence. We understand the importance of providing a supportive and inclusive environment for those with disabilities, and we strive to provide a safe and empowering space for individuals to live the life of their dreams.
