At Open Door Learning Center, we understand that it can be difficult to decide if ABA is the right therapy for your child. Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based intervention that seeks to improve communication skills, introduce productive habits, and reduce harmful behaviors. We recommend doing your research and looking for high quality ABA therapy providers who are focused on helping children learn and reach their potential, rather than “curing” autism or changing who they are. To help guide your family through the process, we have created a comprehensive guide to starting and ending ABA therapy.
At Open Door Learning Center, we understand that ABA therapy can be an important part of a child’s Autism treatment plan. However, it’s important to understand the cost of ABA therapy and if it’s covered by insurance. Typically, insurance will cover ABA therapy if you have an autism diagnosis, as its benefits have been extensively researched. It’s always best to check your specific insurance plan to confirm that ABA is covered for your child’s diagnoses and that the provider you are seeking care at is in-network. To help you understand ABA therapy and its costs, Open Door Learning Center has created a comprehensive guide – so you can make the best decisions for your child’s care.
