Head Start of Lane County is a federal program that provides high-quality, comprehensive early learning experiences for preschool-aged children (aged 3-5) from low-income families in Oregon. Our program is designed to promote school readiness by enhancing the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children, preparing them for future success in school and life. By modeling our Oregon Pre-Kindergarten (OPK) program after Head Start, we are able to expand access to early learning opportunities for the children who need it most.
