Partners Resource Network (PRN) is a non-profit agency that operates the Texas statewide network of Parent Training and Information (PTI) Centers serving parents of children and youth with disabilities ages 0-26 as well as youth self-advocates ages 14-26. The majority of their staff are parents of children with disabilities themselves who understand what families are experiencing and are ready to help. They offer free services to empower and support Texas families and individuals impacted by disabilities or special health care needs. These services include understanding the disability, finding program and service options, participating as team members with professionals during IEP preparation, understanding state and federal laws, communicating more effectively with professionals, gaining needed advocacy skills, and building a support network.
