Potential Development Program Inc. has been providing services to children in the Youngstown community since 1953. Founded by Ms. Christine Kline, the original mission was to accommodate the needs of children with cerebral palsy and physical disabilities. Over the years, the agency has shifted focus to accommodate the changing needs of the community, now specializing in helping children with developmental delays, such as speech and language delays, and those with challenging behaviors. In 1976, Potential Development Program Inc. was reincorporated and renamed to better define their current programs and services.
