At PCDA, they believe that relationships lie at the heart of a young person's development—the relationship with oneself, the relationships among families, and the relationships between behaviors and experiences. They emphasize and amplify those relationships and connections every day for young people with developmental differences, Autism, and other medical or genetic disorders that create everyday challenges. PCDA offers various services, including Floortime, play-based activities that help young people interact with their caregivers, and individual skilled therapeutic services like occupational therapy, speech language pathology, music therapy, and feeding and nutrition services. They also provide group services, including Social Skills group, Teen Club, and Young Adults, where young people engage with each other and discover their common interests. PCDA's mission is to create a community that builds on strengths and relationships to prepare young people with Autism and developmental disabilities for a future in which they are empowered, fulfilled, and feel the security of belonging. They are located in Pasadena, CA, and serve families in the greater LA County area.
