About Project Hope Foundation

Project Hope Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1997 by two moms to provide services for their young sons with autism. As the rate of autism has increased significantly since then, our programs have also grown to provide innovative lifespan services across ages, the spectrum of autism, and programs such as therapy, education, adult services, and community engagement, all based in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our individualized approach meets the unique needs of each person, while also benefiting their entire family. We have been honored to be designated as United Way of the Piedmonts programs of excellence and received the Education Spirit Award from the Community Foundation of Greenville, Greenville Journal, and Town Magazine, as well as the Angel Award from the SC Secretary of State. As the largest provider of ABA services in South Carolina and a member of the Council of Autism Service Providers, we are committed to evidence-based practices and implementing GiANT and Entrepreneurial Operating System tools.

Have questions?

Project Hope Foundation understands how important it is to ensure your child has the best speech therapy available, which is why we offer comprehensive therapy services to help autistic children learn to communicate in a more effective way. Our speech therapists work with your child to develop language and communication skills, build confidence and independence, and teach them how to respond to questions, start and end conversations, and use body language. We have compiled a comprehensive guide to help you recognize when your child needs speech therapy and answer any questions you may have. With Project Hope Foundation’s speech therapy services, you can trust that your child will get the support they need to thrive.

At Project Hope Foundation, we believe that speech therapy can be incredibly beneficial for children’s communication and overall development. Our team of speech therapists are dedicated to helping your child communicate effectively in all environments. Through our speech therapy services, we can help your child with nonverbal skills, better formation of speech, understanding and responding to questions, facial expressions, body language, feeding and swallowing, and even stuttering. Our goal is to provide comprehensive speech therapy services to aid your child in their communication development and improve their quality of life.

Project Hope Foundation proudly offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help children and adults learn to improve their communication skills, social skills, and daily living skills while also addressing problematic or challenging behaviors. ABA therapy is rooted in the science of learning and behavior and the goal is to teach helpful skills that promote independence and reduce harmful behaviors. If you’d like to know more about ABA therapy, we have a complete guide for you to learn all you need to know.

At Project Hope Foundation, we understand that deciding whether ABA is the right option for your child is a big decision. We believe that ABA should be used to help your child develop communication skills, form productive habits, and reduce harmful behaviors. However, it’s important to be aware of providers who may attempt to “cure” autism. Our guide provides information on how to start and end ABA therapy, so you can make the best decision for your family. We believe that ABA should be used to help your child live to their potential while embracing their unique individual traits.
