Project Lifesaver International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides public safety solutions to law enforcement, fire/rescue, and caregivers. Founded in 1999 in Chesapeake, Virginia, Project Lifesaver was established to protect individuals with cognitive disorders or conditions who are prone to life-threatening wandering behavior. Over the past two decades, the program has become an internationally recognized, proven, and effective method of “bringing loved ones home” due to the growing number of cognitive conditions.
