Rainbow Connection is a summer program developed by Rainbow Academy to foster meaningful connections between children and the people in their lives. Our program is specifically designed for children with disorders of relating and communicating, such as Asperger’s Syndrome, specific learning disabilities, and high functioning Autism. At Rainbow Connection, children participate in exciting activities such as swimming, sports, arts and crafts, music and movement, nature, and horseback riding. Additionally, our program offers time to learn social and emotional skills to help with interactions throughout the day. Our ultimate goal is to help children develop core ethical values such as fairness, honesty, compassion, responsibility, and respect for others.
