Dr. Robert Montgomery is an experienced and highly qualified professional in the field of Clinical Psychology, with decades of experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings, from toddlers to geriatrics. He has a Ph.D. from Georgia State University, completed Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center Jackson VAMC, and Post Doctoral Fellowship in Child Adolescent Psychology at the Georgia Mental Health Institute. Dr. Montgomery is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral, Certified Cognitive Therapist, and a licensed clinical psychologist in Georgia. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment, the original American Psychological Association Task Force on Empirically Validated Treatments, the Alabama Behavior Analysis Peer Review Committee, and as Chair of the Clinical Behavior Analysis Interest Group of the Association for Behavior Analysis International. He has published in numerous professional journals on topics such as compliance training, medication effects on developing brains, reduction of aggression, and overcorrection. He has also taught clinical and behavioral courses at Argosy, Auburn, and Georgia State Universities, and is the first ACE provider for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board™ in Georgia.
